The Pro-Ject T2 Super Phono has an electronically switchable record speed of 33 1/3 or 45 rpm. An interesting feature of the model is the use of a new 9-inch lightweight aluminum tonearm. It is mounted on a precision bearing. Shell is integrated, which ensured the elimination of possible resonances. The unit is supplied with a Sumiko Rainier MM cartridge already installed. The tonearm utilizes a spring-loaded anti-skating system. The counterweight is nickel plated, giving the unit a professional appearance. The main “highlight” of the Pro-Ject T2 Super Phono is the high-end built-in phono stage (which is reflected in the name of the model). It is made on a large printed circuit board, with symmetrical placement of channel components - in fact, the principle of dual mono is realized here. Precision components are used in the corrector circuit, and RIAA-correction is made separate for HF and LF bands. This solution provides additional reduction of noise and distortion. If you wish to install an MC cartridge on the player, this unit can be disabled. The Pro-Ject T2 Super Phono comes with a transparent dust cover and a felt mat.
